About An Gallery

 My name is Fataneh and I am the founder of An Gallery.

In October 2024, I moved to Germany with my husband and our two daughters after my husband found a job as a skilled worker here. Like many women starting a new life in a new country, I faced the challenge of learning a new language, building a new home, being a mother, and finding my own path at the same time. The name "An" has a very personal meaning to me. Both my daughters' names begin with "An," and their names mean love in Persian. For me, An symbolizes love, connection, family, and the invisible threads that connect our stories. Although I studied mathematics and biology and worked in digital marketing for several years, I have always been drawn to creativity and craftsmanship. There is something profoundly human about creating something with your own hands – turning simple materials into something beautiful, unique, and meaningful. My love for macrame, knots, textures, and handmade details inspired me to embark on this journey with a small investment and a big dream. But An Gallery was never meant to be just another handmade brand. My vision was to build a bridge – between cultures, between traditional craftsmanship and modern design, and especially between talented Iranian women and the world. As a mother and a woman, I know how much talent, creativity, and passion lies in the hands of many women who often don't have the opportunity to make their art visible internationally. With An Gallery, I want to help talented Iranian women and mothers make their handmade works accessible to people all over the world. Behind many of our products are women whose creativity, patience, and craftsmanship deserve recognition and appreciation far beyond their homeland. Every knot, every handcrafted detail, and every resin artwork tells a story of care, creativity, and human connection. We at An Gallery believe that handmade products carry something that industrial mass production can never replace: time, emotion, authenticity, and soul. Our creations are inspired by nature, feminine aesthetics, boho style, and the quiet beauty of genuine craftsmanship. Each piece is crafted with great care to feel personal, timeless, and meaningful.
